Royal Kingston District is home to an established Scouting community with 17 Scout Groups, 11 Explorer Units and specialist activity clubs. Our total membership is around 1,800: 1,600 young people and 200 adult volunteers.
When Districts work really well, everyone feels the difference – leaders feel supported, Groups thrive and most importantly, young people have a better Scouting experience.
In Royal Kingston our goal is simple: to help all our teams deliver safe, high-quality and exciting programmes so that young people across the District enjoy more adventure, make more friends and have more opportunities to develop skills for life.
We are a popular, and successful Scout District serving Kingston, New Malden, parts of Worcester Park, Tolworth, Chessington, Surbiton, Berrylands and Hook with vibrant Beaver, Cub and Scout sections and Explorer units. We offer a full programme of meetings, camps and events in all our sections. All activities are run according to UK Scout Association policies, organisation and rules.
We have strong teams of adult leaders and supporters, a sociable bunch who enjoy each others company both in and out of Scouting and join enthusiastically in the activities which the young people are doing.
Why should the kids have all the fun!
Please explore the pages on this site to find out more and then use our “Recruiting Now!” page if you are a young person interested to join or our volunteering pages if you are an adult interested to discuss helping out in any capacity.
Thanks for your interest!
