Southwood Activity Centre is run by Royal Kingston Scout District and offers a wide range of outdoor activities from kayaking on the Hogsmill River to Tomahawk throwing and bushcraft skills.
It is also the home of 6th Tolworth Scout Group.
The site can be used without charge by Groups and Units of Royal Kingston District, and on a chargeable basis by other Scouting bodies and Community Groups (charity, religious and education only).

- Hall, meeting room, toilets, small kitchen, outdoor pizza oven
- Air rifle, axe throwing, camping/ activities field, wild life area, camp fire, scope for water activities on adjacent river
